Student Films
My two Graduate Films were Lift and Performance. Lift has a page of it's own here. For copyright reasons Performance is not on my site but is hoasted by Manchester School of Art over here.
Here is a selection of films from my first and second years at Manchester School of Art (MMU) where I studied Contemporary Film and Video. On this course we had to produce films in small groups or as individuals to fit a brief set by the tutors.
Tashetastic!
A light hearted look at why so few men proudly wear mustaches. I made Tashetastic! with Sophie Agnew and Connie Jagard.
Telescope
A short drama I made as the final project on my first year. To meet the brief the film could only have two characters and no dialog. It didn't quite turn out how I planned but I'm pleased with it as a first year film.
I directed this film with Paul Wood as producer and Chris Wrench as editor and sound designer.
4 Artists 4 Times
An Experimental film. I gave 4 of my fellow students a starting point and and ending point and they had to find creative link between them. I then edited the results together, including footage of the making off into the final piece.
This work was envisioned as an instillation which the audience could watch as many times as they wanted.
First Memory
Another experimental film, this time exploring how memories change over time and are not always as reliable as they seem. Warning, low quality video from Youtube.
